Star India batter and former captain Virat Kohli has posted an adorable note for his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. Virat Kohli is currently flying high as Team India lifted the T20 World Cup after a gap of 17 years. As he celebrates the massive win, Virat Kohli has credited his wife Anushka Sharma for always being by his side. Taking to Instagram, Virat Kohli shared a lovely post for Anushka Sharma, and it is all things love.

Time and time again, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma keep setting major couple goals. And this occasion is no different.

Taking to Instagram, Virat Kohli shared a picture with Anushka Sharma. In the caption, he wrote, “None of this would remotely be possible without you my love. You keep me humble, grounded and you always say it how it is with absolute honesty. I couldn't be more grateful for you. This victory is as much yours as it's mine. Thank you and I love you for being YOU @anushkasharma.”

Earlier, Anushka Sharma had penned a heartwarming post for Virat Kohli after India lifted their second T20 World Cup title.

Taking to Instagram, Anushka wrote, “AND ….. I love this man. @virat.kohli . So grateful to call you my home – now go have a glass of sparkling water for me to celebrate this.”

In another post, Anushka congratulated every Team India member, and she wrote, “Our daughter’s biggest concern was if all the players had someone to hug them after she saw them cry on tv….. Yes, My darling, they were hugged by 1.5 billion people What a phenomenal victory and what a legendary achievement!! CHAMPIONS – CONGRATULATIONS!!”

For the unversed, after the T20 World Cup, Virat Kohli announced his retirement from T20Is.

Speaking to the host broadcaster, Virat Kohli said, “This was my last T20 game playing for India. We wanted to lift that cup. Yes, I have (whether he is confirming his retirement), this was an open secret. Wasn't something that I was not going to announce even if we had lost. Time for the next generation to take the T20 game forward and do wonders as we have seen them do in the IPL.”

For the unversed, Anushka Sharma had tied the knot with Virat Kohli in December 2017. The couple then welcomed their daughter, Vamika, in January 2021.

The duo later welcomed their second child, a baby boy, Akaay in February 2024.
