'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' will be releasing on Netflix on this date!

The wait is finally over! Netflix has finally revealed the date on which Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' will be streaming on the platform. The Luv Ranjan-directorial will be premiering on the streaming platform on Wednesday, May 3. Netflix confirmed the development on Twitter on Tuesday. "Can confirm that this is not a lie! Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar arrives on Netflix, May 3," tweeted the official handle of Netflix India.

“I am very excited that Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar will now be available to entertainment fans around the world. After the response we got in theatres, we are excited to be able to showcase our hard work to Netflix audiences across so many countries. I am eager to know the global audience reactions to our labour of love," Ranbir Kapoor said in an official statement.

“Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is an anytime watch with friends and family and now viewers can do exactly that- watch it at home or on the go! Being able to share our film with a global audience is extremely exhilarating,” said Shraddha Kapoor.

'Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar' had released in the cinemas on March 8 this year, and the new Hindi Bollywood movie received mixed reviews from critics.

The new Hindi Bollywood movie went on to collect more than Rs 140 crore at the domestic box office, and it is the second-highest grossing movie after 'Pathaan' this year, when one talks about Hindi movies.

“As a filmmaker, my aim has always been to entertain audiences to the fullest while keeping the characters relatable and honest. We have received immense love from the audiences so far and we are hopeful that it will continue when the movie streams on Netflix too," said director Luv Ranjan in a statement.
