'Tiger 3': Hollywood star Michelle Lee has explained how the towel fight scene with Katrina Kaif was shot.
If you have seen the 'Tiger 3' trailer, you would definitely be waiting to see Katrina Kaif's towel fight scene in the film. When the ‘Tiger 3’ trailer was released of the new Hindi movie, which also stars Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi, everyone was talking about the towel fight scene. But did you know that the actress named Michelle Lee along with Katrina Kaif in this particular scene, is a popular figure in Hollywood. She has acted with the likes of Scarlett Johannson in 'Black Widow', Johnny Depp in 'Pirates of the Caribbean', Brad Pitt in 'Bullet Train' and Tom Hardy in 'Venom'.
She will next be seen fighting it out with Katrina Kaif at a Turkish hammam in 'Tiger 3'. In the latest entertainment news, Michelle Lee has said that she is not surprised that the towel fight set-piece has become one of the biggest talking points from the trailer.
“I’m not surprised. I thought it was pretty epic when we were shooting it. We learned and practised the fight for a couple weeks and then shot it. The set design was absolutely gorgeous and the fight was really fun to do. It was wonderful being on an international film," Hindustan Times quoted Michelle as saying.
“Katrina was as graceful and professional as can be. She worked really hard on getting the movements precise and making sure all the movements flow. It was clear she had experience in choreography so it was super easy to work with her. We worked up a sweat," she added.
Michelle Lee also said that managing the towels wrapped around their bodies was the biggest challenge of the sequence.
“One of the main challenges was definitely the wardrobe! Our towels needed to stay in the proper place and with so much movement and fight choreography, it was definitely a challenge. We ended up having the towels sewn closed at certain points and that helped a lot," she said.
“Another challenge was striking each other in the perfect amount of distance so that it looks close enough to be dangerous and strong but far enough to not actually hurt each other. Can you imagine if I actually got her?! But I’m a professional lol. So things went smoothly, neither of us got hit so we just had to make it work for the camera," she added.
'Tiger 3' has been directed by Maneesh Sharma. For the unversed, the YRF Spy Universe had kicked off in 2012 with Salman Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger'. The movie was then followed by 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War' and 'Pathaan'.
Shah Rukh Khan is also slated to make an extended appearance in 'Tiger 3'. The new Hindi film will be releasing in theatres on November 12, 2023.
YRF intends to interconnect every spy film in the post-Pathaan world. Tiger 3 follows the events of 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War', and 'Pathaan', and will be carrying forward the promise of an edge-of-the-seat action spectacle that people have not seen before on the big screen.
