Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 4’ teaser promised the franchise’s most violent chapter yet.

The teaser for Tiger Shroff’s highly-anticipated ‘Baaghi 4’ dropped on Monday afternoon, and it’s already making waves for its unapologetic violence and high-octane action. Marking Tiger Shroff’s return as Ronny, the much-loved protagonist of the franchise, the film pits him against a formidable new foe played by Sanjay Dutt. Promoted as the most violent installment yet, the teaser has sparked instant chatter, with many drawing parallels to ‘Animal’ and the Malayalam hit ‘Marco’.

Check out the teaser here:

The teaser kicked off with Tiger’s voiceover musing on the difference between necessity (zaroori) and need (zaroorat). A quick glimpse of Sanjay Dutt as the menacing antagonist follows, before Ronny declares open war. What ensues is a relentless montage of gore – limbs hacked, blood splattering, and bodies hitting the ground in rapid succession.

In a notable twist for the franchise, the mayhem isn’t limited to its male leads. Sonam Bajwa and debutante Harnaaz Sandhu get their own brutal action moments, slicing through enemies with razor-sharp weapons in sequences as bloody as they are stylish.

Yet, amid the carnage, a sense of déjà vu creeps in. One sequence featuring masked men in black sprinting through an alley instantly reminded viewers of Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’.

Social media wasted no time in calling it out – “They even copied the hallway scene from Animal,” claimed one user, while another took a harsher swipe with, “Sasta Animal Park.” Comparisons didn’t stop there. Many likened the film’s unapologetic brutality to ‘Marco’, often dubbed the most violent Indian film ever. Some saw it as a compliment – “Marco Baaghi 4 Theatre becoming stadium,” gushed a fan—while others weren’t impressed, dismissing it as “a Marco knock-off.”

Despite the mixed comparisons, Tiger’s loyal fan-base is buzzing with excitement. “Total goosebumps and promising!! Tiger Shroff’s real comeback,” read one comment. Another hyped up the face-off between Tiger and Sanjay Dutt as “Two lions, one jungle – epic face-off.”

The official logline teases, “Tiger Shroff returns as Ronny in his most savage avatar yet. Fueled by vengeance, armed, and driven by a rage that leaves no enemy breathing.”

With the story and screenplay by Sajid Nadiadwala and direction by A. Harsha, ‘Baaghi 4’ is set to unleash its fury in cinemas on September 5.
