Top 5 Star-Led Bollywood Films That Turned Out To Be Box Office Disasters
Here are the top five films, headlined by big stars, that turned out to be total disasters at the box office.
Hopes were really high from Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-starrer 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' and Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan', considering both films were released in cinemas on the occasion of Eid 2024. However, both films have turned out to be a complete disappoinment and both the movies will not be able to even recover its budget. 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' was panned by critics and audiences, and hence its failure is no surprise.
However, 'Maidaan' has not done well even after receiving a positive word-of-mouth from the critics. As per Sacnilk, 'Maidaan' has so far collected Rs 45.60 in India, while 'BMCM' has made Rs 62.45 crore so far.
'Maidaan' has been made on a budget of more than Rs 200 crore, while 'BMCM's budget is almost Rs 350 crore.
Looking at the fate of these two movies, we have decided to list top five movies, that were headlined by big stars, but turned out to be complete disasters at the box office.
