Pooja Hegde recently bumped into an underprivileged kid, who complimented her and Salman Khan’s “sundar” film. However, she was slammed by netizens.
Pooja Hegde, who was last seen romancing Salman Khan in the 2023 Bollywood film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, is known for her impeccable acting prowess and brilliant sense of style. The Indian actress, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Mohenjo Daro’ co-starring Hrithik Roshan, also often makes headlines for her humble and grounded nature. Recently, she stepped out in Mumbai for a dinner outing. While she looked absolutely stylish in a chic yet comfy outfit, what got everyone talking was her interaction with an underprivileged kid.
In a video shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram, Pooja Hegde greeted an underprivileged kid with a warm smile and thanked him as he complimented her for ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’.

In the video, an underprivileged kid told Pooja Hegde, “Aapka film bahut sundar hai, ma’am. Salman Khan ke saath aapka film bahut sundar.”
Pooja Hegde flashed her million-dollar smile and added, “Thank you… thank you.”
However, eagle-eyed social media users noticed that she avoided shaking hands with him as the kid tried to grab her hand.
Pooja Hegde’s interaction with the kid received divided reactions with several social media users flocking to the post’s comment section.
One user wrote, “Why are these beggers grabbing their hands...it's so bad to see people commenting that Pooja didn't want to shake hands with that kid. Honestly, would a commaner do?”
Another one added, “Bachy SE hath mila he leti pagli bechara tareef Kar Raha tha.”

For her outing, Pooja Hegde rocked a white halter neck crop top paired with tan-coloured pants. She rounded off her look with a shoulder bag and white and brown-coloured sneakers. The actress kept her tresses open to give her a chic look.
Talking about Pooja Hegde’s career, she started her acting journey with the Tamil film ‘Mugamoodi’ in 2012.
Her first Telugu release was in 2014, with the film titled ‘Oka Laila Kosam’, where she shared the screen with Naga Chaitanya.
She has also appeared in other movies such as ‘Acharya’ alongside Chiranjeevi, and ‘Beast’ with Vijay.
