Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who is currently neck-deep in the shoot of his upcoming war drama ‘Border 2’, was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport, where a sweet fan moment turned heads. As the actor made his way through the terminal – looking every bit the part in a rugged, military-inspired outfit – he was met with a gesture that melted hearts. A female fan approached Varun with a bouquet of red roses, which the actor accepted with a warm smile.

Known for his friendly and down-to-earth nature, Varun Dhawan didn’t just stop at acknowledging the gesture – he also happily posed for photos with the fan, creating a brief but special memory. What also caught attention was Varun’s outfit – he wore a black T-shirt, camouflage pants, and heavy-duty boots, channelling a tough, army-inspired look. The styling appeared to be a subtle nod to his role in ‘Border 2’, the sequel to the 1997 cult classic ‘Border’.
With excitement building for the film, his look at the airport only added fuel to the buzz. His visibly ripped physique and intense vibe hinted at the heavy-duty prep he’s undergoing for the role, which is expected to be both physically and emotionally demanding.

The new installment is being directed by Anurag Singh, who is best known for helming the Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Kesari’ (2019). Apart from Varun Dhawan, the movie also stars Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta and is set to release on January 23, 2026. The movie is reportedly inspired by the 1999 Kargil War between India and Pakistan.
Varun Dhawan, who was last seen in the action thriller ‘Baby John’ – a remake of the Tamil hit ‘Theri’ – continues to keep fans excited with his packed slate. Apart from ‘Border 2’, he will also be seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming entertainer ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’. It also features Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, and Maneish Paul.
