Latest Bollywood Box Office Report: Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s new Hindi movie, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, has crossed the Rs 60 crore mark.
Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s recently released Bollywood film, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, breathed new life into Hindi cinema as the new Hindi movie has been enjoying a successful run at the box office. Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Bollywood's mid-range films faced a rough patch as most movies either found their way to OTT platforms or limited audience turnout for such releases. However, big budget films like ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Pathaan’ shattered several box office records.
However, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s new Hindi movie, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Backe’, has been holding strong at the domestic box office despite receiving mixed reviews from critics.
The Bollywood film, directed by Laxman Utekar of ‘Mimi’ and ‘Luka Chuppi’ fame’, has proved to be a game changer, crossing the Rs 60 crore mark in just 13 days of its release.
Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest box office collection of 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' on Twitter.

In the latest Bollywood box office news, according to Taran Adarsh, the new Hindi movie collected Rs 2.25 crore on its second Wednesday.
‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ witnessed a significant jump in its box office collection on its second Saturday and Sunday, minting Rs 5.76 crore and Rs 7.02 crore.
While the new Hindi movie saw a major drop in its earnings with minting Rs 2.70 crore on Monday, Rs 2.52 crore on Tuesday and Rs 2.25 crore on its second Wednesday, it still managed to cross the Rs 60 crore mark. ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ has so far collected Rs 61.02 crore.
It is worth mentioning that despite competition from Adah Sharma-starrer ‘The Kerala Story’ and ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’ competition, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ has maintained its fine run at the box office.
It remains to be seen how Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s first collaboration together, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, will perform after Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Adipurush’ releases on June 16, 2023.
The new Hindi movie is the second highest grossing film for Vicky Kaushal as a lead after ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’.
Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan extensively promoted the new Hindi movie across India. Speaking of ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, the movie released in theatres on June 2, 2023. It is set in Indore, with Vicky Kaushal playing the role of Kapil and Sara Ali Khan essaying the character of Soumya.
The new Bollywood film is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Studios. Apart from ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, Sara Ali Khan will also be seen in ‘Murder Mubarak’, directed by Homi Adjania. The actress also has ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ in the pipeline.
