Latest Bollywood Box Office Report: Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s new Hindi movie, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, has crossed the Rs 70 crore mark.
Despite tough competition from Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Adipurush’, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s recently released Bollywood film, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ has been performing decently at the domestic box office. ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, directed by Laxman Utekar of ‘Mimi’ and ‘Luka Chuppi’ fame’, has crossed the Rs 70 crore mark. While the new Hindi movie received mixed reviews from critics, it seems to have struck a chord with the audience as it has been raking in money.

In the latest Bollywood box office news, according to Taran Adarsh, the new Hindi movie collected Rs 99 lacs on its third Tuesday, taking its total to Rs 70.38 crore in 19 days since its release.
The new Hindi movie is the second highest grossing film for Vicky Kaushal as a lead after ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’.
Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan extensively promoted the new Hindi movie across India. Speaking of ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, the new Hindi movie released in theatres on June 2, 2023. It is set in Indore, with Vicky Kaushal playing the role of Kapil and Sara Ali Khan essaying the character of Soumya.
The movie’s plotline follows two college lovers, Kapil and Saumya, who are madly in love with each other.
After marriage, they stay with Kapil's family and are often interrupted by relatives while they struggle to spend some quality time together. To get away from their family, Kapil and Saumya try to get a flat through the Indian government's flagship program, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). However, in order to be eligible for that, they have to get a divorce. What follows later is a comedy of errors.
The new Bollywood film is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Studios. Apart from ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, Sara Ali Khan will also be seen in ‘Murder Mubarak’, directed by Homi Adjania. The actress also has ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ in the pipeline.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal also has ‘Sam Bahadur’, helmed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, in the pipeline. The movie is based on the story of India's war hero and first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
