Vidya Balan To Return To Silver Screen With 'Neeyat'. See First Poster
'Neeyat' will be Vidya Balan's first movie in the theatres post Covid-19 pandemic.
Actress Vidya Balan is all set to return to the silver screen post Covid-19 pandemic. Four years after her last theatrical release -- 'Mission Mangal', Vidya Balan will be back to the big screen with her latest project titled 'Neeyat'. The project is being directed by Anu Menon while it has been produced by Prime Video and Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment. The new Hindi movie is being billed as a murder-mystery.
'Neeyat' features a stellar ensemble cast of Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Shahana Goswami, Amrita Puri, Dipannita Sharma, Niki Walia, Shashank Arora, Prajakta Koli and Danesh Razvi.

"Neeyat narrates a gripping suspense story of an unlikely detective (Vidya Balan) who investigates mysterious murders at a billionaire’s party where nothing is what it seems and all suspects hide a secret or two," an official note from the makers read.
'Neeyat' marks Vidya Balan’s return to theatres after her successful stint on digital with three super hit films that premiered on Prime Video. Vidya Balan's latest movies on streaming were ‘Shakuntala Devi’ (2020), ‘Sherni’ (2021) and ‘Jalsa’ (2022).
Vidya Balan has been the recipient of multiple Best Actress awards for these films at prestigious forums. 'Neeyat' also reunites the team of 'Shakuntala Devi' -Abundantia Entertainment, Anu Menon, Vidya Balan and Prime Video.
This also marks the second theatrical co-production for both Abundantian Entertainment and Prime Video.
'Neeyat' will release across the world on 7th July, 2023.
