“Thoda Toh...”: Vijay Varma Slams Media Frenzy Around Malaika Arora's Father's Death
Vijay Varma asked the media to leave Malaika Arora and her "grieving" family alone.
In a piece of heart-breaking news earlier this week, Bollywood actress Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Mehta, allegedly died by suicide. Reportedly, Anil Mehta jumped from the sixth floor of a residential building in Mumbai’s Bandra on Wednesday morning. There has been a massive media frenzy surrounding the tragic death of Malaika Arora’s father. The paparazzi has surrounded the house of Malaika Arora’s mother. Now, Indian actor Vijay Varma has asked the media to leave the “grieving” family alone.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Vijay Varma asked the mediapersons to have some “grace”.
“Please leave the grieving family alone.. it’s not easy anyway for them. Thoda toh grace rakho media walon,” Vijay Varma wrote.

Earlier, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan had also slammed the paparazzi for pointing cameras at grieving people after Malaika Arora's father's death.
Taking to Instagram Stories, he wrote, “It is the most insensitive thing to point cameras in the face of people who are grieving please.”
He added, “Think what you people are doing or what someone is going through when you do this. I understand this is work but sometimes another human might not be okay with this.”
For the unversed, the last rites of Malaika Arora's father took place at the Santacruz Hindu Crematorium in Mumbai.
Malaika reached the crematorium along with her son Arhaan Khan. Several celebrities such as Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and her husband, Saif Ali Khan, along with others were also seen at the funeral.
For the unversed, Anil Mehta was 62 at the time of his passing. Malaika's mother, Joyce Arora, reportedly shared the details about the incident to the police.
Anil and Joyce were divorced, but had reunited and were living together, as per several reports.
