Actors Vijay Varma and Gulshan Devaiah are currently awaiting the release of their upcoming eight-part web series 'Dahaad'. The show which is being produced by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagtu, also stars Sonakshi Sinha in a lead role. Ahead of the release on May 12, everyone is loving the camaraderie between Vijay Varma and Gulshan Devaiah.

Recently, Gulshan Devaiah had taken to Twitter to joke how he charges Rs 25 lakh per scene from his co-actors in order to act less than them.

"I charge 25 lakhs per scene from my Co actors, so I do thoda kam acting so as to not upstage them. Nobody has paid this fee yet but it’s not stopping me from trying to hustle my Co actors," the actor tweeted.

In the latest entertainment news, Vijay Varma has now replied on the post, and his reply has left everyone in splits.

Replying to the tweet, Vijay Varma said: "Aur overacting ke kitne kaatne hai?"

At the trailer launch event of 'Dahaad', Gulshan had pulled Vijay Varma's leg by bringing up the name of actress Tamannaah Bhatia. For the unversed, Vijay Varma and Tamannah Bhatia are rumoured to be dating.

At the event, Gulshan told Vijay Varma: "Humari bari tamannaah thi ki aap hase."

This ended up making Vijay Varma blush, while Sonakshi Sinha was unable to control her laughter. "He did not," she said.

'Dahaad' is an eight-part crime drama that follows sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati and her colleagues in a small-town police station. It all starts when a series of women are mysteriously found dead in public bathrooms, and sub-inspector Bhaati is tasked with the investigation.

At first, the deaths appear to be clear-cut suicides, but as the cases unravel, Bhaati begins to suspect that a serial killer is on the loose. What follows is a riveting game of cat and mouse between a seasoned criminal and an underdog cop, as she pieces together evidence before another innocent woman loses her life.
