"Met The King": Emmy-Winning Comedian Vir Das Shares Pic With Shah Rukh Khan From 'The Archies' Premiere
Emmy-winning comedian shared a picture with Shah Rukh Khan from 'The Archies' premiere.
'The Archies', directed by Zoya Akhtar, will mark the acting debut of star kids such as Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda. The film premiere was held on Tuesday evening in Mumbai and it was attended by the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Kajol, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Ananya Panday, Farhan Akhtar, among others. The premiere was also attended by actor and comedian Vir Das, who had recently won an Emmy for his stand-up 'Vir Das, Landing'. For the unversed, the premiere of 'The Archies' was held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai.
In the latest entertainment news, Vir Das on Wednesday shared a picture with none other than Shah Rukh Khan.
Sharing the monochrome picture with SRK, Vir Das on Instagram wrote, "Met the king."
In the picture, SRK can be seen hugging Vir Das.

Talking about SRK, the actor had unveiled the 'Dunki' trailer on Tuesday. The new SRK movie marks the first collaboration between the actor and Rajkumar Hirani.

Talking about 'The Archies' premiere, it was also attended by Gauri Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Ananya Panday, Aditya Roy Kapur, among several others.
‘The Archies’ will be released on Netflix on December 7. It has been co-produced by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti and Sharad Devarajan under their production houses Tiger Baby and Graphic India.
In the film, Suhana Khan will essay the character of Veronica Lodge, Agastya Nanda of Archie Andrews and Khushi Kapoor of Betty Cooper. Vedang Raina will be seen as Reggie Mantle, Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones and Aditi Saigal as Ethel Muggs.
