Vivek Agnihotri Reacts To Netizen Asking Him To “Clash” ‘The Vaccine War’ With SRK’s ‘Jawan’
Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ is scheduled to release on September 7 while Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Vaccine War’ will hit theatres on September 28, clashing with Prabhas-starrer ‘Salaar’.
After the success of the 2022 Hindi movie ‘The Kashmir Files’, Vivek Agnihotri is currently working on his upcoming directorial ‘The Vaccine War’. Recently, the filmmaker held an Ask Me Anything session on Twitter when a user dared him to release his movie with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ if he “has guts”. However, Vivek Agnihotri responded, saying he does not believe in Bollywood box office clashes. Not just this, the filmmaker also said that he is sure SRK’s ‘Jawan’ will be an “all-time blockbuster”.
The Twitter user wrote, “Clash with srk if has gut.”
Responding to the user, Vivek Agnihotri tweeted, “We aren’t in Bollywood game and terms like ‘clash’ etc. are for stars and media. I can guarantee SRK’s Jawan will be an all-time blockbuster. But after seeing it please also see our small film about India’s greatest victory in a war you know nothing about. #TheVaccineWar.”

In another tweet, when a user asked him to not clash his film with Prabhas-starrer ‘Salaar’, the director said his film is a “small content driven” movie targeting family audience.
“Clash is always between titans. We are very different. #TheVaccineWar is a small, content driven film for the family audience. You would love to show it young children. He will be proud of India and its WOMEN scientists,” Vivek Agnihotri tweeted.
He added in another tweet, “We are a diverse country. I am sure there is space and audience for all kind of audience. Not every family wants to take their children to maar dhaad films. Some like to show films to children that inspire, educate and enlighten. #TheVaccineWar #ATrueStory.”
