Was Malaika Arora Behind Giorgia Andriana And Arbaaz Khan's Breakup? Here's The Truth
Here's what Giorgia Andriani had to say about rumours claiming that Arbaaz Khan's ex-wife Malaika Arora might be the reason behind their breakup.
Italian actress-model Giorgia Andriani, who often makes headlines when she steps out and about in Mumbai to run some personal errands or hit the gym, recently confirmed her breakup with actor and producer Arbaaz Khan. As soon as Giorgia Andriani confirmed their split, fans started speculating that Arbaaz Khan's ex-wife, Malaika Arora, might be the reason behind their breakup. But this is not the case, as confirmed by Giorgia Andriani. In a new interview, Giorgia Andriani said that "there was no interference" from Malaika Arora.
“There was no interference from her side, ever. She was not the reason behind us parting ways,” Giorgia Andriani told Hindustan Times.
“What I value in a relationship is having similar interests, but sadly we didn’t share any mutual interests, which was not favourable for our relationship. For example, I am a whimsical person and I like to travel on a whim. If I’m free and I decide I want to go somewhere, I go. It didn’t feel right when he didn’t want the same things. Arbaaz loves to sit and watch movies and documentaries. I am very different, I can’t sit,” she added.
Giorgia Andriani also confirmed that despite the end of their romantic relationship, she and Arbaaz Khan continue to share a friendly connection.
“After the breakup, people are bitter and they don’t have much to say to each other, but in our case, that’s not what it is. We still crack jokes, and I am still very fond of him. So yes, we are still in touch,” she said.
For the unversed, Arbaaz Khan was previously married to Malaika Arora and the couple parted ways in 2017. The duo is now co-parenting their son Arhaan Khan.
Earlier, talking about her breakup with Pinkvilla, Giorgia Andriani had said, “He’s (Arbaaz) been so good to me and he has emotionally given me everything I needed at that point in time. I will never stop feeling any good feelings for him. Why would I not be in touch with him.”
“When you’re in a toxic relationship, then you have to cut someone loose and say, you know, like, I don’t want to be with this person. And my relationship was never toxic. So I don’t see any point of not being in touch,” she added.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Giorgia Andriani was last seen in popular singer Milind Gaba’s song ‘Wapas Na Aayenge’ from the singer’s new album ‘Fragrance’.
