'Tiger 3' starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi has so far emerged as a success story, and in its opening weekend, the new Hindi film collected Rs 144.50 crore in just the Hindi version. If one adds the dubbed versions (Telugu and Tamil) in the mix, then the three-day total swells up to Rs 148.50 crore at the domestic box office. This is the biggest 3-day total for Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi.

Katrina Kaif has now spoken about the success of 'Tiger 3', saying it is amazing to see audiences flocking to the theatres.

"It's truly delightful to witness the widespread entertainment that Tiger 3 is bringing to people across the nation this Diwali. It's amazing to see audiences from all corners of the country joyfully dancing in the theatres! The enthusiasm, cheers, and whistles from the audience reflect the incredible time they are having at the cinemas during this festive season," Katrina said in a statement.

“As someone dedicated to providing entertainment, this holds immense significance for me. I take great pride in Tiger 3 and I am elated that each film in this franchise has created enduring memories for the audience to cherish. This year has been phenomenal for Hindi cinema, and I am thrilled that Tiger 3 is being enjoyed by audiences in the theatres," she added.

Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Maneesh Sharma, 'Tiger 3' is running successfully in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Talking about Salman Khan, the actor visited a theatre to celebrate the release of 'Tiger 3' with a bunch of kids on the occasion of Children's Day. Salman Khan was seen shaking hands with the kids, and he even hugged them.

Speaking of ‘Tiger 3’, the new Hindi film was released in theatres on Sunday (November 12), and the Maneesh Sharma directorial opened to mixed reviews.

However, looking at the audience response, it looks like, ‘Tiger 3’ has struck a chord with the masses. The single screens are performing better than multiplexes, just like in the case of ‘Gadar 2’.

‘Tiger 3’ also features cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. The latter appears in the post-credits scene, setting up the events in motion for ‘War 2’, in which he will be sharing the screen with Jr NTR.

For the unversed, 'War 2' is currently in production under the direction of Ayan Mukerji. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are also slated to star in 'Tiger vs Pathaan' and the new Hindi film is said to be directed by Siddharth Anand.
