Ananya Panday has revealed what she would steal from her Gehraiyaan co-star Deepika Padukone. Her answer might surprise a few.
After a slow start to her career as an actress in Bollywood, Ananya Panday finally managed to make her mark thanks to her fine performance in ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan’. The beautiful actress received widespread praise for her acting chops in the Hindi movie that also starred Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. In comparison, her senior in the film industry, Deepika Padukone has established herself as one of the top actresses in the country. Her good looks and her sartorial choices have also made her an international style icon. So, it comes as no surprise that Ananya Panday would want to steal Deepika’s enviable body from her, but her other thing to steal from the ‘Pathaan’ left us scratching our heads.
Ananya and Deepika had shared screen space in the Hindi movie Geharaiyaan, which failed to light up the box office.
Speaking about what she would want to steal from her Geharaiyaan co-star, Ananya said, “From Deepika…her body or her plates. Deepika has some really good crockery at her place and the South Indian food at her place is yum. So, her body and the food at her place.”
Recently, Ananya Panday had moved into a new 1,100-square-foot apartment in Mumbai. The sprawling house has been designed by Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan.
Having moved into her new house, Ananya has found a few quirks about herself that she never knew about.
“I just realised how obsessed I am with plates, bowls, and spoons. I never thought in my life that I was going to be clicking pictures of crockery, but I just love them, it is my new obsession.”
"Honestly, it (buying the house) was more to prove to myself than to anyone else. It was just about taking responsibility and getting independent, because my parents are 'like yeah, you please go now'. I tell them, ‘I'm going, I'm going to shift tomorrow, I'm going to shift tomorrow’, but I've still not been able to cut that umbilical cord.”
