Actress Sara Ali Khan is riding high on the success of her new Hindi movie 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' also starring Vicky Kaushal. The new Hindi movie which released in theatres on June 2, has already made more than Rs 34 crore at the domestic box office, and it will enjoy a free run till 'Adipurush' releases on June 16. However, despite the success of her film, it is Sara Ali Khan's personal life that has become a topic of attention as she is often linked with cricketer Shubman Gill.
Now, in the latest entertainment news, Sara Ali Khan was asked whether she is open to marrying a cricketer.
In an interview with India Today, Sara Ali Khan said: "I think that the kind of person that I am… To find somebody, it doesn’t matter what they do — actor, cricketer, businessman, doctor… Maybe not doctors, they will run away."
"But you know the truth is that, jokes apart, you will need to match me on a mental and intellectual level. And if you can do that, I think it’s great, but I think that would matter to me much, much more (than the profession)," she added.
When Sara was further asked if she is open to dating someone from the current Indian cricket team, she said: "I’ll be honest with you, I think and I can say this with almost assurity, I think the person I am going to be with in my life, I have not met so far. I really don’t think so.”
For the unversed, Sara Ali Khan's grandmother Sharmila Tagore had married former India captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, commonly known as Tiger Pataudi.
The rumours of Sara Ali Khan and Shubman Gill dating each other surfaced after the two were spotted having dinner at a restaurant last year.
Neither of them have confirmed these rumours, however, they have often been spotted together.
Apart from ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, Sara Ali Khan will also be seen in ‘Murder Mubarak’, directed by Homi Adjania. The actress also has ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ in the pipeline.
