Speaking of the Women's World Cup 2025 final, the match was attended by Rohit Sharma, Nita Ambani and a few others. As soon as India captain Harmanpreet Kaur completed the final catch, Rohit was also seen getting a bit teary-eyed.
It is worth mentioning that Rohit Sharma got close to lifting the World Cup title at home in 2023, but India fell short at the final hurdle against Australia in Ahmedabad. Hence, the outpouring of emotion from him was all the more understandable.
Speaking of the final, India won the match by 52 runs, thanks to outstanding performances from Shafali Verma and Deepti Sharma.
