'Ae Watan Mere Watan' teaser came out on Monday, and the movie will see Sara Ali Khan playing the role of a freedom fighter.
The teaser for Sara Ali Khan-starrer 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' came out on Monday morning and the movie is touted to be an ode to the brave freedom fighters. The events in the film are based on true incidents and Sara Ali Khan will be seen donning the hat of a freedom fighter. The teaser for the upcoming movie was shared by Karan Johar on Instagram.
In the teaser, Sara Ali Khan's character can be seen assembling a radio-like device and then she says that the British might be under the impression that they destroyed the 'Quit India Movement' but that is not the case.
"This is the voice of India," she says in the teaser. She further adds that the voice can never be silenced.

A Dharmatic Entertainment Production, the movie is being produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta, with Somen Mishra serving as the co-producer.
The movie is being directed by Kannan Iyer and it will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
