"Bade Laalchi Type Ke Hain": Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Brother Makes Shocking Statement, Accuses Him Of "Abandoning" People
Shamas Siddiqui has said that Nawazuddin Siddiqui is “greedy” and he has a habit of “abandoning” people.
Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been in the news off late and it has been for all the wrong reasons. The 'Gangs of Wasseypur' actor has been involved in a legal war with his estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui for his children. Amidst the ongoing feud, Nawaz's brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui has spoken out, saying Nawaz has a habit of "abandoning" people. He also went on to label Nawaz as greedy.
"Woh hamara khayal rakhte hain (he does take care of us) but he hasn’t established any brother’s career. He buys properties for us, but he isn’t what his image is. He is a difficult person. He abandons people- Aaliya and I are two examples," said Shamas in an interview with ETimes.
Shamas also said that there was trouble in Nawaz and Aaliya's relationship right from the very start.
“As a woman, she has taken a lot. Usne bahut bardasht kiya hai," said Shamas.
Shamas also claimed that Nawaz sabotaged his film 'Bole Chudiyan' as he declined to shoot the patchwork until producer Rajesh Bhatia paid his dues.
“You have worked with directors, producers…you have done Manto in Re 1, No Land’s Man, Raat Akeli Hai.. you did Roam Rome Mein only to establish your friend. So, why aren’t you supporting me," asked Shamas.
In the interview, Shamas also claimed that Nawazuddin never cleared his differences with him and also instructed their family to not see his newborn daughter.
“Woh dikhana chahte hain ki main hi sab kuch hoon. Bade laalchi type ke hain…ab dheere dheere logon ko unka roop pata lag raha hai," said Shamas.
Shamas also addressed the rumors of difference between Nawaz and late actor Irrfan Khan, saying: "Friction did exist between them.”
Nawaz, who was last seen in ‘Heropanti 2’, has several films in the pipeline including ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’, ‘Bole Chudiyan’ and ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’.
