What Juhi Chawla Said On Old Video Of Salman Khan Saying He Wanted Marry Her
Bollywood Celebrity News: Here's what Juhi Chawla had to say on an old video of Salman Khan where he talked about wanting to marry her.
"Salman was not THE Salman Khan," said actress Juhi Chawla when she was asked to comment on Salman Khan's remarks, where he had talked about wanting to marry the actress back in the day. In an old video which is now going viral on social media, Salman Khan claimed that he had approached Juhi Chawla's father asking for his daughter's hand. He then also revealed how he was turned down by her father. Now, in an interview with News18, Juhi Chawla has finally reacted to the remarks made by Salman Khan in the old video.
"Back in the day, when I had just started out in my career, and when Salman was not THE Salman Khan, a film had come my way that had him in the lead actor. In fact, I didn’t know anyone properly back then – not him, not Aamir Khan, or anyone else in the industry. Incidentally, I couldn’t do the film because of some issue," Juhi Chawla said in the latest Bollywood celebrity news.
"And to this day, he doesn’t leave one chance to remind me of it! ‘You didn’t do the film with me,’ he keeps saying! We hardly worked on films together but we did a lot of stage shows. He had a cameo in Deewana Mastana," she added.
For the unversed, Juhi Chawla and Salman Khan had shared the screen in 'Deewana Mastana'.
Juhi Chawla was most recently seen in Amazon Prime Video's show 'Hush Hush'. The show also featured Ayesha Jhulka, Soha Ali Khan and Shahana Goswami.
Talking about Salman, the actor is gearing up for the release of 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' which also stars Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Shehnaaz Gill and Palak Tiwari.
The new Bollywood movie will release in the theatres on April 21.
