Bollywood Entertainment News: From Kiara Advani to Karisma Kapoor, Bollywood celebrities wished their sisters and brothers on National Siblings Day 2023.
National Siblings Day is celebrated every year on April 10 to honour the relationship between siblings. The day was first recognised in the United States in 1995 and has since gained popularity worldwide. This day is dedicated to the ones you grew up with, laughing, crying, and occasionally yelling at. The people who got you into trouble but who also had your back. In the latest Bollywood entertainment news, on the occasion, several Bollywood celebrities took to their social media handles to share photos with their brothers and sisters and wish them.
The likes of Kangana Ranaut, Shilpa Shetty, Rhea Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Athiya Shetty all took to their respective Instagram accounts for showering love on their siblings.
In the latest celebrity news update, the 'Tanu Weds Manu' actress shared a throwback picture from her childhood. In the photo, we can see a young Kangana Ranaut standing in a garden next to her sister Rangoli Chandel and brother Akshit Ranaut.
Along with the photo, she wrote, "As kids, sibling love was all about getting thrashed by older sister for spying on her and telling mumma everything and beating rolu polu younger brother for being grandma's favourite child... ha ha it's only when you grow up and grow apart you find each other again, you become friends first, then you discover how special it is to have siblings... Happy Siblings Day to all."
Talking about Shilpa Shetty, she shared a video in which her daughter Samisha can be seen applying ice on her brother Viaan's head, in the latest celebrity news update.
"Siblings are the best… even if they punch you in the head, they still ice the bump. On Sibling’s Day (and every day), there’s nothing more motivating for me than seeing these two halves of my heart together," Shilpa Shetty wrote.
She added, “How are you spending the day with your arch nemesis-cum-partner in crime-cum-confidante-cum-advisor-cum-best friend-cum-cheerleader-cum-tattletale… (the list is really long)? Love you, my Tunki @shamitashetty_official, can’t live without you.”
Rhea Kapoor shared throwback pictures with her siblings -- Sonam Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor.
Athiya Shetty shared an adorable picture of her with brother Ahaan Shetty from her wedding album. In the photo, Ahaan can be seen holding her hand as he walks the bride out.
