Box Office Report: Here's how much Ajay Devgn's 'Bholaa' collected on its opening day.
Ajay Devgn's latest offering 'Bholaa' released in the theatres and the new Bollywood movie is getting mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Some are praising the action scenes of the new Hindi Bollywood movie, while some are criticising the overall screenplay. Bollywood has its hopes high from 'Bholaa' as the movie has all the ingredients of being a smash-hit at the box office. However, the new Hindi movie has not got off to the best of starts as it made just a little more than Rs 10 crore on its opening day.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collection of 'Bholaa', saying the movie needs to gather pace at the weekend for a healthy total. 'Bholaa' eventually collected Rs 11.2 crore on its opening day.

'Bholaa' has recorded the third best opening for an Hindi film in 2023 after 'Pathaan' and 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar'.
'Bholaa' has been directed by Ajay Devgn. The actor had previously directed 'U Me Aur Hum' in 2008, 'Shivaay' in 2016 and 'Runway 34' in 2022.
'Bholaa' is the ninth collaboration between Ajay Devgn and Tabu. The duo has previously starred in movies like 'Drishyam', 'Drishyam 2', 'Golmaal Again', 'De De Pyaar De' and 'Vijaypath'.
'Kaithi' which is the source material for 'Bholaa', went on to become a blockbuster in 2019 when it released and the movie also received critical acclaim.
The Tamil film revolved around an ex-convict named Karthi, deciding to meet his daughter for the first time after being released from prison, but he ends up being caught in a battle between police and drug mafia.
