Actor Sonu Sood received worldwide recognition for his philanthropic work during COVID-19 pandemic. Sonu Sood also ended up getting a lot of laurels and he received great appreciation from all corners, and even his fanbase has enlarged by a fair few numbers over the last few years. Now, in a latest, a temple has been built in his honour and the actor feels "humbled". Sonu Sood recently visited the temple, and he shared a video of it on Twitter. In the video shared, a banner in the back read: "Real Hero of India Sonu Sood Temple."

In the video, Sonu Sood is surrounded by a lot of fans and many of them are trying to take a selfie with him. 

Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "Humbled. I don’t deserve this but if you wanna do then Build Schools and Hospitals. Jai Hind."

Sonu Sood also spoke to news agency IANS about this honour. In the interview, he said: "So yeah just got to know about another temple that is made in the borders of Andhra and Telangana. This is the fourth temple you know that they have made in Telangana, Andhra and one in Chennai."

“I feel really humbled you know I have no words to say anything… you know I really feel full of gratitude that people show and shower so much love but also I want to say… you know I totally don’t deserve so much," he added.

Sonu Sood’s humanitarian deeds have earned him a massive fan following. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sonu Sood helped people by providing them with food, medicine, shelter and transport.

On the career front, Sonu Sood recently featured in the 2022 movie ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar.

Sonu Sood is best known for his roles in films such as ‘Paltan’, ‘Dabangg’, ‘Happy New Year’, and ‘Simmba’.
