Actor Shah Rukh Khan was present in the Sports18 and Jio Cinema studios ahead of the FIFA World Cup final between France and Argentina. The 'Chak de India' actor interacted with former England star Wayne Rooney and he even did his trademark pose from 'Dilwale Dulhaina Le Jayenge' with Rooney. Shah Rukh Khan made Rooney do the trademark pose with him. The photos have now gone viral and it is safe to say that Twitter is in a complete meltdown!

During the interaction, Shah Rukh Khan went on to say that for him, Wayne Rooney is 'Pathaan'. 

Rooney asked Shah Rukh, "who is Pathaan", and to this question, the actor replied: "Pathaan is the guy you call last minute, when you are all tied up and can’t find solutions. You can’t get a goal and you know the guy who is going to get it for you when you are in trouble, when you need a break, when you need a victory, who are you going to call? Mr. Wayne Rooney."

"For me, if Pathaan is to be equated to any footballer in the world, it will always be Wayne Rooney," he added. 

Shah Rukh Khan's next movie 'Pathaan' is slated to hit the theatres on January 25 and it also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. 

The teaser for 'Pathaan' was released on November 2, which also happens to be the birth date of Shah Rukh Khan.

As soon as the teaser was launched, the fans of 'King Khan' went into overdrive on social media, praising the return of the star.

It is important to mention that Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in a full-feature-length film in 2018. He starred in 'Zero' opposite Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif and the movie tanked at the box office.

After this, the actor has given a few cameos in films like 'Laal Singh Chaddha', 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect', and 'Brahmastra'.
