Actor Sonu Sood, who gained worldwide recognition for his philanthropic work during COVID-19 pandemic, was recently schooled by the Northen Railway. The entire episode unfolded after Sonu Sood posted a video of himself travelling in the train, sitting near the door. However, the 22-second long video did not go down well the Railway authorities and they advised him to not do so as it might send a wrong message.

“You are a role model for millions of people in the country and the world. Traveling on train steps is dangerous, this type of video may send wrong message to your fans. Please do not do this! Enjoy a smooth and safe journey,” Northern Railway tweeted.

On Thursday, Sonu Sood reacted to the above mentioned tweet, saying he apologises but he was just watching how many poor people feel as their lives pass through the train doors.

"Apologies, just sat there watching, how would those lakhs of poor people feel whose lives still pass through the train doors. Thank you for this message and for improving the railway system of the country," wrote Sonu Sood on Twitter.

Sonu Sood had recently asked his fans to come up with suggestions for an actor to play villain in one of his upcoming films. The project in question is Sonu Sood’s upcoming movie ‘Fateh’.

Meanwhile, Sonu Sood’s humanitarian deeds have earned him a massive fan following. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sonu Sood helped people by providing them with food, medicine, shelter and transport.

On the career front, Sonu Sood recently featured in the 2022 movie ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar.

Sonu Sood is best known for his roles in films such as ‘Paltan’, ‘Dabangg’, ‘Happy New Year’, and ‘Simmba’.
