"Ghar Mein Ghuss Ke Maara": Kangana Ranaut Praises Javed Akhtar For Schooling Pakistani Journalist
Actress Kangana Ranaut was all praise for lyricist Javed Akhtar after he schooled a Pakistani journalist!
Writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar recently schooled a Pakistani journalist who asked him to spread a message of peace and to tell his fellow countrymen that Pakistan is a positive and friendly nation. For the unversed, Javed Akhtar visited Pakistan to attend a festival organised in the memory of renowned Urdu poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz. Responding to the question of Pakistani journalist, Javed Akhtar said: "Jo garam hai fiza, woh kam honi chahiye. Hum toh Bambaiye log hain. Hamne dekha wahan kaise hamla hua tha. Wo log Norway se toh nahi aaye the naa Egypt se aaye the, wo log abhi bhi aapke mulk me ghum rahe hain. Toh ye shikayat agar Hindustani ke dil me ho toh aapko bura nahi manna chahiye."
This response left actress Kangana Ranaut in awe and she took to Twitter to praise Javed Akhtar.
"ab main Javed saab ki poetry sunti hoon toh lagta tha yeh kaise Maa Swarsati ji ki in pe itni kripa hai, lekin dekho kuch toh sachchai hoti hai insaan mein tabhi toh khudai hoti hai unke saath mein … Jai Hind @Javedakhtarjadu saab… Ghar mein ghuss ke maara .. ha ha," Kangana tweeted.

As per the Indian Express, Javed Akhtar had also reminded Pakistani journalists that while India has welcomed artists like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Mehdi Hasan, Pakistan never hosted a Lata Mangeshkar show.
"Mehdi Hassan was a cult figure in India. When he visited India, Shabana Azmi hosted it, I wrote for the event which was graced by the likes of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle. When Faiz sahab visited, it seemed like an authority was visiting…it was broadcast all over. Have you ever seen Sahir (Ludhianvi), Kaifi (Azmi) or (Ali) Sardar Jafri’s interviews on PTV? It was shown in India, it happened there… So the communication blockade is from both sides and perhaps more from your side,” he said.
In 2008, a terror attack took place in Mumbai, also known as 26/11 attack. The attack resulted in death of about 175 people. A series of orchestrated attacks took place on prominent locations in Mumbai, including the famous Taj hotel.
