Pooja Hegde and Salman Khan would be starring together in the upcoming Bollywood movie 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'. The trailer for the new Hindi Bollywood movie was released earlier this week, and fans loved the cute banter between the two lead stars. For some time, certain rumours are doing the rounds, with a few speculating whether Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde are dating each other.
Recently, Pooja Hegde gave an interview to ETimes, and it was then that she was asked about the dating rumours with Salman Khan.
Responding to the question, the actress said: "What do I say to that? I keep reading things about me. I am single. I love being single. I am genuinely concentrating on my career right now. I am hoping from one city to the other city, that’s my goal right now. I can’t even sit and address these rumours anymore because what do I do now?”
For the unversed, Pooja Hegde would be playing Salman Khan's love interest in 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Pooja Hegde said: "The film came to me before the lockdown. The title was different. Earlier, Sajid Nadiadwala was also part of this project and we did Housefull together. After watching my film Mohenjodaro, Salman Sir said we will definitely do something together, we will work together. So it fits very well in the film because my character in the film is a Telugu girl's role. So it was great because I have done a lot of work in Telugu. So it fits beautifully and this film has happened now. And it's a good thing that I got such an important role in Salman Khan's film."
"I had a great experience working with him. He is real just like you see him in interviews, he is the same on the sets too. Many people think about you but do not speak about what they feel. I like the way Salman sir is so upfront, he says what he feels," she added.
'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' stars Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Palak Tiwari, Shehnaaz Gill and Venkatesh Daggubati. The new Hindi movie is slated to release in the theatres on April 21, 2023.
Till now, five songs have been unveiled from 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'. The first song to be released was 'Naiyo Lagda while the second song to be released was 'Billi Billi'.
The third song was 'Jee Rahe The Hum' and the fourth was 'Bathukamma'. The latest song to come out is 'Yentamma'.
