"If Shah Rukh Sir Had Spotted The Error...": Lyricist Manoj Muntashir's Huge Comment On 'Pathaan' Song 'Besharam Rang'

Lyricist Manoj Muntashir has reacted to the 'Besharam Rang' controversy, saying if people are hurt, then the makers of ‘Pathaan’ have certainly committed a mistake.

The controversy over 'Pathaan' song 'Besharam Rang' continues to go on and in a latest, famous lyricist Manoj Muntashir has reacted, saying "if people are angry, then definitely there was a mistake committed". Ever since the first song from 'Pathaan' dropped, the song has been embroiled in controversy regarding the costumes and choreography used. Some sections of fans have taken offence to Deepika Padukone wearing a “saffron” bikini in the song.

“If people are hurt, they have certainly committed some mistake. The error could not be detected and was simply ignored.If the director, the music team or Shah Rukh sir had spotted the error, they would have certainly taken some action," Muntashir told Dainik Bhaskar, as reported by News18.

Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra had taken offence to the song and he said that if the makers do not change the costumes then the state government would contemplate whether the movie 'Pathaan' would be allowed to release in Madhya Pradesh or not.

Ayodhya seer Paramhans Acharya also issued a threat to Shah Rukh Khan.

After 'Besharam Rang', the makers of 'Pathaan' dropped the second song titled 'Jhoome Jo Pathaan' on Thursday.

'Pathaan' is slated to release in theatres on January 25. This is Shah Rukh Khan's first full-length feature film after 2018's 'Zero'.

Earlier this year, the 'My Name Is Khan' actor was seen in a cameo in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's 'Brashmastra'.
