Indian Film Fraternity Expresses Condolences On PM Narendra Modi's Mother Death
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother Heeraben Modi passed away on Friday morning and condolences have been pouring in from all parts of the world.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother Heeraben Modi passed away on Friday morning and condolences have been pouring in from all parts of the world. Heeraben Modi, who was admitted to an Ahmedabad hospital, breathed her last, aged 100. The news of her death was confirmed by PM Modi himself as he took to Twitter to say: "A glorious century rests at the feet of God… In Maa I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values."
Ever since this sad news came to light, condolences have been coming in and the many from the Indian film fraternity also expressed their sadness.

Narendra Modi, who is 72 years old, was seen shouldering his mother's bier on Friday. The body was then put in an ambulance and the Prime Minister stepped in, as reported by NDTV.
In June this year, PM Modi had penned an emotional blog for her mother who turned 100 years old.
"This is going to be her birth centenary year. If my father had been alive, he too would have celebrated his 100th birthday last week. 2022 is a special year as my mother's centenary year is starting, and my father would have completed his," he wrote in his blog post.
