IPL 2023: Arjun Tendulkar made his debut for Mumbai Indians against the Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday.
Ever since Arjun Tendulkar was picked up by the Mumbai Indians at the Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction last year, fans were eagerly waiting to see his debut. They had to wait one season, but Sachin Tendulkar's son finally played his first IPL game on Sunday for the Mumbai Indians. He made his debut against Kolkata Knight Riders. As Arjun Tendulkar made his debut, Sachin Tendulkar was present in the Mumbai Indians dugout, and sister Sara Tendulkar was present in the stands.
Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan on Monday took to Twitter to congratulate Sachin Tendulkar.

It was Rohit Sharma who handed Arjun Tendulkar his debut cap. As soon as he received the cap, the entire Wankhede crowd cheered.
In a video shared by Mumbai Indians, Sachin Tendulkar said: "It was a new experience for me as till now I have not gone and watched him play. I just wanted him to have the freedom to go out and express himself and do what he wanted to do.”
Mumbai Indians defeated Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday by five wickets.
With this win, Rohit Sharma's side moved to the eighth spot in the points table while KKR remains at the fifth spot.
