'Queen' star Kangana Ranaut has revealed that superstar Aamir Khan was once her "best friend" and he always mentored and appreciated her, but the equation changed after the Hrithik Roshan episode. The actress shared a clip from one of the episodes of Aamir Khan's TV show 'Satyameva Jayate'. On her Instagram story, she mentioned how Aamir Khan changed his loyalties after the legal case done by Hrithik Roshan.

"Actually mujhe bhi kabhi kabhi voh din yaad aate hain jab Aamir sir was my best friend… jaane kahan gaye voh din," Kangana Ranaut wrote on Instagram.

“One thing is for sure he has mentored me appreciated me and shaped a lot of my choices, before Hrithik did that legal case on me post that they made their loyalties clear it was one woman against entire industry," she added.

In the video which was shared by Kangana, the actress can be seen talking about taking a stand against item songs and how she refused to do them in movies.

"A friend’s daughter was rehearsing the steps of a vulgar item song. Though she looked cute, I thought she would want to do it again for acceptance, or applause. For that, I felt responsible and I took a stand. In the last 3-4 years, I refused 6 item songs," she said in the video.

For the unversed, back in the day, Kangana Ranaut had claimed that she was in a relationship with Hrithik. She also revealed how the relationship went sour. However, Hrithik has always contested her statements.

The two had also filed cases against each other.

Talking about Aamir Khan, the actor was last seen in 'Laal Singh Chadha'. The movie had bombed at the box office, and it also faced boycott calls after Aamir Khan's statement on intolerance surfaced.

Then Kangana Ranaut had said: "I think all the negativity around the upcoming release Laal Singh Chadda is skillfully curated by mastermind Aamir Khan Ji himself. This year, no Hindi films have worked (barring one exception of a comedy sequel) only south films deeply rooted in Indian culture or with local flavour have worked. A Hollywood remake would have not worked anyway.”
