Fans cannot wait to see how Shehnaaz Gill performs in the upcoming Bollywood movie 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'. The actress would be sharing the screen with Salman Khan for the very first time. Ahead of the release on April 21, the entire cast has been involved in a promotion spree, and in the latest entertainment news, the likes of Shehnaaz, Salman, Pooja Hegde and Palak Tiwari made an appearance at 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.
It was during this episode, that Shehnaaz Gill revealed that she had once blocked Salman Khan's phone number, unknowingly.
"I was in Amritsar visiting the Gurdwara, when I received a call from an unknown number. And I have this habit of blocking unknown numbers, so I did the same. Then after a few minutes, I got a message that Salman sir is trying to call me," Shehnaaz Gill said on 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.
"Just to verify, I put the number on the Truecaller app and found out that it was actually Salman Khan calling me! I immediately unblocked him and called him back; it was then that he offered me the film and that’s how I got the film," she stated further.
Earlier, the fans had loved the cute banter between Shehnaaz Gill and Salman Khan at the trailer launch of 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'.
During the event, Salman Khan had even told Shehnaaz Gill: "Move on kar jao."
To which the actress responded by saying: Kar gayi hoon."
Earlier while talking about working with Salman Khan, Shehnaaz had said: "The proud moment is that I am standing behind him right now. I remember going on the sets of a music video in my life and the moment I went on the sets, I was rejected. The makers said who is this kid? And I was sent home. I cried a lot and then my mother told me that ‘don’t cry, one day you will work with Salman Khan’ and now I feel how my dreams have come true."
'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' stars Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Palak Tiwari, Shehnaaz Gill and Venkatesh Daggubati. The new Hindi movie is slated to release in the theatres on April 21, 2023.
