"Love Romancing SRK": Rani Mukerji Says She Wants To Do "Mature Love Story" With 'Pathaan' Star
Rani Mukerji has said that she can continue to romance SRK till she is 80 years old.
Rani Mukerji and Shah Rukh Khan have been a leading pair when it came to Bollywood movies and the duo have starred in many memorable movies like 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Chalte Chalte', 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna', and 'Paheli'. The fans of both the stars still want to see both actors featuring in a movie together. In her latest interview, Rani Mukerji was asked whether there is a movie on the horizon where fans can feature alongside SRK.
In an interview with India Today, the 'Mardaani' actress said: "Please have writers a wonderful mature love story with SRK. I have always said that I love romancing SRK and I would continue wanting to romance him till we both are old, till I am 80 and he is 95 years old. I will continue.”
Rani Mukerji is currently enjoying the success of her latest Hindi film 'Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway'.
The movie has collected more than Rs 30 crore worldwide and the critics have also appreciated the performance of Rani Mukerji.
'Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway' also broke the record of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' when it came to Norway's box office collections.
Earlier, SRK had also praised Rani Mukerji's performance in the movie, as he called her a "queen".
Taking to Twitter, SRK wrote: "What a tremendous effort by the whole team of Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. My Rani shines in the central role as only a Queen can. Director Ashima, shows a human struggle with such sensitivity.”
'Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway' has been directed by Ashima Chibber and the plot revolves around a true story of an Indian couple whose children were taken away from them by Norwegian welfare services in 2011.
Rani Mukerji plays the titular role of Mrs. Chatterjee who ends up fighting a legal battle with the Norwegian government to reunite with her children.
The actress has delivered some of the finest performances in films like ‘Black’, ‘Hichki’, ‘Mardani’, and more.
