Mouni Roy was brutally trolled after she donned a bizarre outfit for NMACC event, with many comparing her to Urfi Javed.
The Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Centre (NMACC) launch was a grand success, attended by numerous A-listers including some of the biggest Bollywood stars. The extravagant event even drew the presence of several international celebrities. Among the many celebrities, Bollywood actress Mouni Roy also turned up for the event. However, she has recently been at the receiving end of social media trolls after her appearance at NMACC event in Mumbai. She was trolled for her outfit, with many people comparing her to Urfi Javed.
The actress, known for her impeccable style and fashion sense, was seen sporting a blue gown that didn't quite impress her fans. After she posted photos in the gown, many took to social media to criticise her look, with some even drawing comparisons to Urfi.

Mouni Roy played muse to fashion designer house Vaishali S Couture and picked a blue gown from the shelves of the designer house.
The gown featured dramatic blue and black embellishments on the torso, adding to the mystic look of the outfit. The attire further cascaded to blue silk skirt in long and flowy pattern.
Mouni Roy posed in the backless gown with knot details and further accessorised her look in statement earrings.
The Bollywood beauty tied her tresses into a clean braid with a middle part and added a white flower garland to her hair.
Mouni Roy decked up in nude eyeshadow, black winged eyeliner, black kohl, mascara-laden eyelashes, drawn eyebrows, contoured cheeks and a shade of nude lipstick.
However, Mouni Roy’s gown did not quite impress her fans, who took to the comment section of the post and compared her to Urfi.
One user wrote, “Ye lo aa gayi nayi urfi Javed ....saram karlo kuch to.”
A second netizen added, “New urfi coming out.”
A third one commented, “Urfi ki copy.”
“Ye urfi ka jadu sbko chadne lga hai,” a comment read.
One social media user wrote, “Urfi jadav inspired,” along with several laughing emojis.
Talking about Mouni Roy, she was last seen in the 2022 Bollywood movie ‘Brahmastra’ as an antagonist. Her performance was appreciated by fans as well as critics. She will next be seen in the horror comedy ‘The Virgin Tree’.
Coming back to the NMACC, the event saw some of the iconic unions taking place. From Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh shaking a leg to ‘Gallan Goodiyaan’, to Gigi Hadid, Zendaya, and Tom Holland gracing the red carpet, it indeed was a memorable affair.
