"Lemme Burst Your…": Varun Dhawan Shuts Down Troll Who Said Actor Kissed Gigi Hadid Without Consent

Varun Dhawan had an apt response for a troll.

The opening of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) was a star-studded affair in Mumbai as all the major celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Rashmika Mandanna attended the celebrations. On Saturday, there were many performances and the likes of Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan stole the limelight. However, there was one moment which the netizens found out to be embarrassing and even cringe.

At one point during his performance, Varun Dhawan brought Gigi Hadid on stage, and he spun her around, carrying her in his arms and he even planted a kiss on her cheeks. 

This was not taken in good light by netizens who trolled and mocked the actor.

However, Varun Dhawan decided to school one troll, who had alleged that the actor kissed Gigi Hadid without her consent.

Taking to Twitter, Varun Dhawan wrote: "I guess today you woke up and decided to be woke. So lemme burst ur bubble and tell u it was planned for her to be on stage so find a new Twitter cause to vent about rather then going out and doing something about things. Good morning.”

Even Gigi reshared Varun Dhawan's dance performance on her Instagram story, and she wrote: "@varundvn making my Bollywood dreams come tru." She also added a bunch of laughing emojis in her post.

In the video which went viral on Sunday, Varun Dhawan pulled Gigi Hadid to the stage. He then carried her in his arms and spun her around.

Varun Dhawan was even shaking a leg to 'Jhoome Jo Pathaan' alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh at the event.

Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh even did the trademark SRK pose, giving way to a thunderous response from the crowd.

At one point during the ceremony, SRK also said: "Party Ambani ke ghar rakhoge to Pathaan to aayega." 

Talking about Varun Dhawan, he was last seen in 'Bhediya' alongside Kriti Sanon. He will next be seen in projects like 'Bawaal' alongside Janhvi Kapoor.

He will also be acting in the Indian version of 'Citadel' co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The show is being directed by 'Farzi' and 'The Family Man' fame Raj and DK.
