OTT: List Of Bollywood Actors That Will Be Making Their Digital Debuts
Several Bollywood actors have already made their OTT debut, and more celebrities like Kareena Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra are set to jump on the bandwagon.
In the year 2020, which marked a major change in the entertainment industry due to the coronavirus pandemic-induced lockdown, several Bollywood actors made their digital debut on various streaming platforms. Bollywood celebrities such as Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Juhi Chawla, Sushmita Sen, Karisma Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez made their streaming debuts in 2020, exploring some interesting, never-seen-before roles. And the list of Bollywood celebs making their OTT debuts is only growing, thanks to a boom in the digital viewership.
In the upcoming months, B-town stars like Kareena Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra and Sara Ali Khan are set to make their digital debuts.

1. Sidharth Malhotra: Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra is all set to make his digital debut with director Rohit Shetty’s action thriller series ‘Indian Police Force’, which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video. The series will also star Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty Kundra.
2. Kareena Kapoor Khan: Kareena Kapoor Khan will make her OTT debut with director Sujoy Ghosh’s next untitled film. The movie, set to premiere on Netflix, will also star Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is an adaptation of the Japanese bestseller 'The Devotion of Suspect X'.
3. Shahid Kapoor: Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is all set to foray into the OTT space with director duo Raj and DK’s upcoming action thriller series ‘Farzi’, which will also star Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna, Amol Palekar, and Kubbra Sait. It will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
4. Aditya Roy Kapur: Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur will be marking his web debut with the Hindi remake of the successful British thriller series ‘The Night Manager’, which featured Tom Hiddleston. The show, also starring Anil Kapoor, will release on Disney+ Hotstar.
5. Sara Ali Khan: Introducing his ‘Coolie No 1’ co-star’s OTT debut project, Varun Dhawan shared an announcement video on social media in which he revealed that Sara Ali Khan will be seen in an upcoming digital film ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ which will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
6. Varun Dhawan: Bollywood star Varun Dhawan will be making his digital debut with the official Hindi remake of the American series ‘Citadel’ in which he will be seen opposite South actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The series will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
7. Sonakshi Sinha: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar in her digital debut project ‘Dahaad’, set to release on Amazon Prime Video.
