"Painful": Amitabh Bachchan Injured During Shooting Of 'Project K' In Hyderabad
Superstar Amitabh Bachchan revealed he was injured during the shooting of his upcoming film titled 'Project K'.
Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has provided an update, after he got injured during the shooting of his upcoming film titled 'Project K'. The megastar suffered the injury in Hyderabad and providing an update to his fans, Amitabh Bachchan said that he is currently taking proper rest at his Mumbai home. "In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured, rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage, canceled shoot, did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home," said Amitabh Bachchan in his blog post.
"Strapping has been done and rest been advocated .. yes painful .. on movement and breathing .. will take some weeks they say before some normalisation will occur .. some medication is on also for pain .. So all work that was to be done has been suspended and canceled dropped postponed for the moment until healing occurs," he stated further.
Talking further about his injury, the 'Don' actor said: "I rest at Jalsa and am mobile a bit for all the essential activities .. but yes in rest and generally lying around ..It shall be difficult or let me say .. I shall be unable to meet, the well wishers at Jalsa Gate this evening .. so do not come .. and do inform as much as you can to those that intend coming ..All else is well."
'Project K' stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. The movie is slated to hit the theatres on January 12, 2024.
The movie also stars Disha Patani. The movie is reportedly set in a futuristic world.
Amitabh Bachchan is regarded as one of the most successful actors in the history of Indian cinema.
He has won several accolades in his career, including four National Film Awards as Best Actor, Dadasaheb Phalke Award as lifetime achievement award and many awards at international film festivals.
He has also won sixteen Filmfare Awards and he is the most nominated performer in any major acting category at Filmfare, with 42 nominations overall.
Amitabh Bachchan has also hosted several seasons of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'.
