"Records Demolished": 'Pathaan' Mints More Than 70 Crores On Day 2, Check Out Total Collection!

Not even Shah Rukh Khan would have predicted that his comeback vehicle 'Pathaan' would turn out to be this monster of a hit at the box office. The movie which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham is smashing records left, right and centre and it looks like, there is no stopping King Khan for the time being. The movie minted more than Rs 70 crores all versions at the Indian box office on January 26th. Rs 68 crores are in the Hindi version, while Tamil and Telugu versions contributed a further Rs 2.50 crores.
'Pathaan' had previously collected Rs 2 crore in Tamil + Telugu versions on Wednesday (January 25).
The total collection of two days in just Hindi version now stands at a whopping Rs 123 crores. It is also important to mention that 'Pathaan' is the first Bollywood film to mint more than Rs 70 crores in a single day.

Shah Rukh Khan also tweeted on Friday, looking at the success of 'Pathaan', and in his very own style, he said: "Gattaca movie “I never saved anything for the swim back”. I think life is a bit like that….You aren’t meant to plan your return…U r mean to move forward. Don’t come back…try to finish what u started. Just a 57yr olds’ advice things."

On Wednesday, 'Pathaan' had collected Rs 55 crores in the Hindi version, which is the highest opener for any Bollywood film. The collection defeated the opening day tally of dubbed versions of 'Baahubali 2' and 'KGF: Chapter 2'.
Earlier, rave reviews led to the exhibitors increasing 300 shows of the film all over India!
"The total screen count now is 8000 screens worldwide across Hindi, Tamil and Telugu formats. Domestic - 5,500 Screens, International - 2,500 Screens. It is the biggest ever release for a Hindi film ever in the history of Indian cinema," an official release had stated.
'Pathaan' is a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and has the biggest superstars of the country Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in it.
The hype around 'Pathaan' is unprecedented. All the assets of the film that YRF has released so far have turned out to be super-hits right from the teaser, the two songs - 'Besharam Rang' and 'Jhoome Jo Pathaan'.
