This week more controversy broke out after Bajrang Dal workers were seen destroying ‘Pathaan’ posters and creating ruckus at a theatre in a mall in Ahmedabad.
Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Pathaan’ is set to hit the theatres on January 25, but currently the upcoming Bollywood movie is embroiled in controversy. Since, the release of the first song ‘Besharam Rang’, the movie has been targeted by certain factions. Deepika Padukone wearing a saffron-coloured bikini in the song, suddenly, became top news across the country. So much so that the Central Board of Film Certification’s (CBFC) chairman Prasoon Joshi advised the film’s makers to revise certain parts of the movie and the track. This week more controversy broke out after Bajrang Dal workers were seen destroying ‘Pathaan’ posters and creating ruckus at a theatre in a mall in Ahmedabad.
The video was shared by Bajrang Dal Gujarat wing’s Twitter handle, and now has been reshared by multiple users on the social media platform.

“Bajrang Dal workers got to know that posters of Pathaan movie were put up in the theatre. So, it was a ‘pradarshan (protest)’ as they did not want the movie to be released in the theatre, and police detained them,” spokesperson of Gujarat Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Hitendrasinh Rajput was quoted as saying by Indian Express.
Jhoome Jo Pathaan' is the second song from the upcoming Bollywood movie 'Pathaan'.
'Pathaan', directed by Siddharth Anand, is a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and the movie also stars John Abraham.
