Self-acclaimed critic KRK has said that actor Emraan Hashmi is himself responsible for his "super flop career".

Self-acclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan is known for giving his take on every possible matter when it comes to Bollywood. Even before the release of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan', KRK was bashing the movie left, right, and centre, saying it would turn out to be a flop. However, the man changed his tune once he saw the public reception for the movie. Then ahead of the release of Kartik Aaryan's 'Shehzada', KRK claimed that the top production houses are trying to destroy the movie.

Now, ahead of the release of 'Selfiee' starring, Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, the self-acclaimed critic has given a bizarre take on Emraan Hashmi, saying the 'Jannat' actor is himself responsible for his "super flop career".

KRK cited Emraan Hashmi's statement on Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee With Karan' where he had said "I don't watch too many Hindi films".

Taking to Twitter, KRK wrote: "Emraan Hashmi is himself responsible for his super flop career. He said on TV:- I don’t watch Hindi films, not even my own films. So If he doesn’t watch his own film, then why the hell people will spend their hard-earned money and watch his film? He shouldn’t insult ppl like this."

For the unversed, Emraan Hashmi had made an appearance with Mahesh Bhatt on 'Koffee With Karan' back in the day and during the rapid-fire round, he had said "I don't watch too many Hindi films".

During the Rapid Fire round, Karan Johar asked Emraan Hashmi on which director he wants to work with next, to this Hashmi questioned: "Who made 3 Idiots?" This left Karan Johar shocked to which Hashmi replied back: "I don't watch too many Hindi films".

Talking about 'Selfiee', the movie is slated to release in theatres this Friday (February 24).

Besides Akshay Kumar and Hashmi, ‘Selfiee’ also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty. The Raj Mehta film releases on February 24. Raj and Akshay have previously collaborated on ‘Good Newwz’, which also starred Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani.

‘Selfiee’ is the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film ‘Driving License’, which starred Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead roles.
