“SRK Has Decided To…”: KRK Says Top Production Houses Trying To “Destroy” Kartik Aryaan’s 'Shehzada'
KRK made shocking claims on social media that “Bollywood top production houses” are trying their best to stop 'Shehzada' from getting a good opening.
'Pathaan' starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham enjoyed a free run at the box office for almost three weeks and the movie became the first Hindi flick to cross Rs 500 crore mark at the domestic box office. However, the movie now faces stiff competition at the box office as Kartik Aaryan's 'Shehzada' and Marvel's 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' released in theatres on Friday (January 17). 'Ant Man' led the advance ticket sales in all three national cinema chains as compared to 'Shehzada', however, self-acclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan believes that there is a conspiracy behind Kartik Aaryan's movie lagging behind.
For the unversed, Yash Raj Studios on Thursday announced that Friday (February 17) will be celebrated as 'Pathaan Day' as the movie crossed Rs 500 crore at the domestic box office. As a result, tickets for 'Pathaan' on Friday are available for Rs 110 across all theatres.
Taking a note of this, KRK tweeted: "SRK has decided to show #Pathaan on Friday (17th February) for ₹110 only in all the theatres. It’s one more attack on #Shehzada to destroy it completely."

Earlier, the self-acclaimed critic on Thursday had claimed that top Bollywood production houses such as Yash Raj Studios, Dharma Productions and Disney are trying to stop 'Shehzada'.
"All the Bollywood top production houses like #YRF #Dharma #TSeries #RedChilli #Disney are trying their best to stop #Shehzada from getting good opening. Let’s see what will happen tomorrow," KRK had tweeted.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Thursday had informed that as of 11 AM on February 16, 'Ant Man' had sold 77,600 tickets across three national cinema chains (PVR, INOX and Cinepolis).
On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan's 'Shehzada' had just sold 11,400 tickets till the same amount of time.
Kartik Aaryan has been promoting 'Shehzada' left, right and centre and his efforts are more the important as the movie marks his first project as a co-producer.
Before, 'Shehzada' had given a box office hit last year in the form of ' Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' and then his OTT film 'Freddy' had also done well. Now, only fate will decide on how 'Shehzada' does.
