A fresh batch of star kids are all set to make their Bollywood debuts in 2023. Some star kids such as Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor are already popular Instagram personalities with millions of followers, while others are still relatively unknown and are expected to make a huge impression once their debut projects are out.
Here’s a list of star kids’ Bollywood debuts to watch out for in 2023:
1. Suhana Khan: Megastar Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan made her acting debut in a YouTube short film titled ‘The Grey Part of Blue’. The 22-year-old is now all set to make her big Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’, slated to come out next year.
2. Agastya Nanda: Superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda will be making his Bollywood debut alongside Suhana Khan in the Netflix film ‘The Archies’.
3. Aryan Khan: Shah Rukh Khan’s son is also expected to make his Bollywood debut in 2023 but not as an actor. Reportedly, SRK has hired Israeli director Lior Raz to mentor Aryan for his writing debut. Though there is no specific timeline for the project, chances are that we’ll hear more about it in the next year.
4. Khushi Kapoor: ‘The Archies’ has become one of the biggest launch pads for star kids and Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi’s younger daughter, Khushi Kapoor is another member of the movie’s star-studded cast.
5. Ibrahim Ali Khan: Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan will be making his Bollywood debut as an assistant director with Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The movie is slated to release on April 28, 2023.
6. Junaid Khan: Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s son Junaid Khan is expected to make his debut with 'Maharaja', which went on floors in June 2021. The upcoming Bollywood movie is based on the 1862 Maharaj Libel Case in which a religious leader was accused of having sexual liaisons with his female devotees. Reportedly, Junaid Khan is playing the role of a journalist in the movie.
7. Shanaya Kapoor: Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor is all set to make her acting debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Bedhadak’, co-starring Gurfateh Pirzada and Lakshya Lalwani.
