While it’s a long-standing debate that exes can’t stay friends, Salman Khan and Sangeeta Bijlani, who were once in a very serious relationship, showed us how this saying doesn’t hold true for everyone. Salman Khan recently celebrated his 57th birthday with a grand bash in Mumbai. While several moments from Salman’s birthday went viral on social media, his heart-warming exchange with ex-girlfriend Sangeeta Bijlani is breaking the internet.
The birthday bash was hosted by Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan and brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. The bash was attended by the who's who of Bollywood. Among several celebrities, Salman's ex-girlfriend Sangeeta Bijlani was also one of the attendees.
In one of the videos from the celebration, Salman Khan, who is seeing off Sangeeta Bijlani, can be seen planting a kiss on her forehead and hugging her. Before she sat in her car, Salman Khan also told her, “I love you.”
Salman also stopped his bodyguard Shera from opening the car’s door for Sangeeta and chose to do it himself.

For the grand bash, Sangeeta Bijlani wore a sparkly blue dress, which she styled with a pair of heels. Sangeeta Bijlani accessorised her blingy dress with a pair of hoop earrings, keeping the rest of her look simple.
The viral videos are a testimony to the beautiful relationship that they share and their long-lasting friendship.
Reportedly, the duo was set to be engaged for marriage in the 1990s but broke up shortly after. Salman Khan and Sangeeta Bijlani dated for over a decade. Sangeeta eventually married cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin, however, they parted ways in 2010.
Coming back to Salman Khan’s bash, it was also attended by Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Sonakshi Sinha, Sunil Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, and Genelia Deshmukh, among others.
Salman Khan's rumoured girlfriend Lulia Vantur was also spotted at the birthday celebrations.
