David Warner's ultimate shout out to SRK's 'Pathaan'.

'Pathaan' mania has gripped India and the box office collection is the proof. Shah Rukh Khan's comeback vehicle has already collected Rs 161 crore in three days. The movie minted Rs 38 crore on Friday, taking the total Hindi version total to more than 160 crore in India. The worldwide gross collection stands at Rs 313 crore. These numbers are unprecedented as no other Hindi movie has recorded such heights within the opening three days of its release.

The worldwide collection is proof that Shah Rukh Khan's popularity knows no bound. So it should come as no surprise that even Australia's opening batter David Warner decided to jump on the bandwagon of 'Pathaan'.

Taking to Instagram, Warner posted a small reel in which he superimposed his own face on Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' look. He wrote in the caption: "Wow what a film. Can you name this? #legend #icon."

"David khan," wrote one fan.

"David pathan ayo," wrote another.

"Our David Warner is totally obsessed with India. Indian Govt please give him Indian citizenship. India also loves Our David Pathan," wrote another.

Earlier on Saturday, trade analyst Taran Adarsh had given an update on the box office collection of 'Pathaan'.

"#Pathaan is having a RECORD-SMASHING run... Day 3 [working day after big holiday] is EXCEPTIONAL... Will FLY on Day 4-5 [Sat-Sun]… Will cross ₹ 200 cr on Day 4 [Sat], ₹ 250 cr on Day 5 [Sun]… Wed 55 cr, Thu 68 cr, Fri 38 cr. Total: ₹ 161 cr. #Hindi version. #India biz," tweeted Adarsh.

'Pathaan' is a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and has the biggest superstars of the country Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in it.

The movie had collected a record-breaking Rs 55 crore in the Hindi version at the Indian box office on the first day and hence it became the biggest opener in the history of Hindi cinema.

The collection took it past the dubbed versions of 'Baahubali 2' and 'KGF: Chapter 2'.
