'Animal' advance booking is going through the roof, and the movie is poised to collect Rs 45-50 crore on Day 1.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming film 'Animal', starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor, will finally be releasing in theatres on Friday, December 1. Despite a clash with Vicky Kaushal-starrer 'Sam Bahadur', and the new Hindi movie getting an 'A' (adults only) certificate, 'Animal' is all set to collect at least Rs 45-50 crore on the opening day of its release. In the latest entertainment news, 'Animal' has beaten the likes of 'Tiger 3' and 'Brahmastra' in terms of advance ticket sales at the national cinema chains for Day 1.

As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, 'Animal' has sold 3,15,000 tickets in the national cinema chains as of Thursday, 2 PM. For the unversed, 'Tiger 3' had sold 3.15 lakh tickets for the opening day while Ranbir's 'Brahmastra' had sold 3.02 lakh tickets.

It is fair to say that 'Animal' will sell almost 4 lakh tickets in the national cinema chains for the first day, and it needs to be seen whether it manages to go past Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer 'War' as it had sold 4.10 lakh tickets.

All India, 'Animal' has so far sold 7,45,992 tickets, grossing Rs 19.7 crore for the opening day.

On the other hand, Meghna Gulzar's 'Sam Bahadur', starring Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, has so far sold 57,888 tickets in India.

Currently, the record of most advance ticket sales is held by Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ as it had sold over 5.57 lakh tickets for the first day. SRK's ‘Pathaan’ is at the second spot with 5.56 lakh ticket sales.

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer ‘War’ (4.04 lakh tickets) is at the third spot, and it is followed by Aamir Khan's ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ (3.46 lakh tickets), and Salman Khan's ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ (3.4 lakh tickets).

Speaking of Ranbir Kapoor, his biggest hit till date is Rajkumar Hirani's ‘Sanju’ as it grossed nearly Rs 600 crore worldwide.

'Animal' is releasing in theatres in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada while 'Sam Bahadur' is just releasing in Hindi.
