'Animal' Advance Booking Day 1: Ranbir Kapoor-Starrer Set To Go Past Salman Khan's 'Tiger 3'

For the unversed, 'Animal' also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Shakti Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri and the film will be releasing in theatres on December 1, 2023. The crime saga is already creating history at the box office. As per Box Office Worldwide, 'Animal' has already sold more than 1,30,000 tickets at the national cinema chains for the first day, outpacing Salman Khan's 'Tiger 3'.
It needs to be noted that there are still 72 hours left till 'Animal's release.
As per Box Office Worldwide, PVR-INOX has reported sales of 1,04,000 tickets for 'Animal' for the opening day while Cinepolis has sold over 24,000 tickets.
When one talks about 'Tiger 3', the advance ticket sales 72 hours prior to the release, stood at 1,22,000.
All India, 'Animal' has so far sold 3,34,173 tickets for the opening day, already grossing Rs 9.75 crore. Trade experts are predicting that 'Animal' will take an opening of Rs 50 crore in India.
The trade experts are also expecting 'Animal' to be among the top five biggest advance sales (national cinema chains) in the history of Hindi movies.
Currently, the record is held by Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' as it had sold over 5.57 lakh tickets for the first day. SRK's 'Pathaan' is at the second spot with 5.56 lakh ticket sales.
Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer 'War' (4.04 lakh tickets) is at the third spot, and it is followed by Aamir Khan's 'Thugs of Hindostan' (3.46 lakh tickets), and Salman Khan's 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' (3.4 lakh tickets).
For the unversed, 'Animal' will be clashing against Meghna Gulzar's 'Sam Bahadur', starring Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
'Sam Bahadur' has so far sold 26,012 tickets for the opening day.
