Koratala Siva's 'Devara: Part 1', starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, continues to brave mixed reviews, and the new pan-India film is minting money at a brisk pace at the ticket counters. In the latest entertainment news, 'Devara' has already reached the Rs 200 crore mark in India, and it needs to be seen whether the film will breach the Rs 250 crore mark by the end of this weekend.

As per industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Devara' earned Rs 6.25 crore on Friday, the eighth day of its release. The total nett domestic collection now stands at Rs 221.85 crore. On Friday, the film had an overall occupancy of 19.26 per cent Telugu occupancy. In Hindi, 'Devara' had an occupancy of 9.77 per cent.

Out of this Rs 221.85 crore, the Telugu and Hindi versions have contributed Rs 168 crore and Rs 46 crore, respectively.

On Friday, the makers of 'Devara' announced that the Koratala Siva film has earned Rs 405 crore globally in just seven days. As a result, the film has now gone past the lifetime collection of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's 'Pushpa: The Rise'.

'Devara' has also outperformed Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon-starrer 'Adipurush' at the global box office. The film is now looking to go past the lifetime collection of Prabhas' 'Saaho'.

However, the film trails behind 'Baahubali 2', 'RRR', 'Kalki 2898 AD', and 'Salaar'. It looks unlikely that 'Devara' would be able to beat the lifetime figures of above mentioned films.

The film is expected to be in a comfortable position this week, with no major releases lined up.

Superstar Rajinikanth's actioner 'Vettaiyan' will hit the screens next week. Alia Bhatt's 'Jigra' and Rajkummar Rao-Triptii Dimri's 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' is slated to release in cinemas on October 11, 2024.

Coming back to 'Devara', the pan-India film marks the Telugu film debut of Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. It is also Jr NTR's first film after the blockbuster success of 'RRR', co-starring Ram Charan and directed by SS Rajamouli.

The Telugu movie also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sengupta, Srikanth, Narine and Murali Sharma.

The magnum opus is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.
