Prabhas' 'Salaar' vs Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki': List Of Box Office Clashes In December 2023
December 2023 will witness three high-profile box office clashes.
2023 has been an amazing year for Bollywood already. Movies like 'Pathaan', 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar', 'The Kerala Story', 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke', 'SatyaPrem Ki Katha', 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, 'Gadar 2', and 'OMG 2' have tasted tremendous success. To top it all off, Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' has become the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time. But Bollywood isn't done yet! The year has some high-profile releases lined up in the form of 'Tiger 3', 'Animal', and 'Yodha'. And it is safe to say that 2023 will definitely end on a high note!
The month of December will see six big movies releasing, and Indian movie buffs are definitely in for a thrilling ride. The viewers will witness three big box office clashes. Yes, you read that right! On December 1, Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna's 'Animal' will be going up against Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh's 'Sam Bahadur'.
On Tuesday, it was also confirmed that Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani-starrer 'Yodha' will be releasing on the same date as Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi-starrer 'Merry Christmas'. Both the films will be hitting theatres on December 8, 2023.
However, the biggest box office clash will be taking place on December 22, 2023 as Prabhas' 'Salaar' and Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' are slated to release on this date.
Talking about 'Salaar', the movie has been directed by Prashanth Neel, and it features Prabas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Ramachandra Raju, Sriya Reddy, Easwari Rao, among others.
On the other hand, 'Dunki' has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani, who is known for projects like 'MunnaBhai MBBS', 'Lage Raho MunnaBhai', '3 Idiots', 'PK', and 'Sanju'.
Rajkumar Hirani is yet to deliver a flop at the box office. Apart from SRK, 'Dunki' also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vicky Kaushal.
